Getting Started

Stedham Electronics was founded in 1995 by David Stedham. Its international corporate headquarters was located in his garage.

During negotiations for his first contract with a large corporation, several of the neighborhood kids came running through his "office", his son famously yelling "Mark's gotta pee...MARK'S GOTTA PEE." Despite this important announcement heard by the numerous lawyers on the other side, negotiations were eventually completed and Stedham Electronics was off and running.

Since then Stedham Electronics has concentrated on providing private labeled capacitive proximity sensors, its own brand of standard sensors, ultrasonic sensors and numerous custom solutions. With its solid customer base, Stedham Electronics is continuing to grow through world-class products and a focus on customer service.
