Sergeant Erik just completed his five year stint in the Marines as a CH-46E "Sea Knight" helicopter care-taker extraordinaire.  He met President Bush (the older one) and President Clinton when they were on their good buddies tour.  He met Scarlett Johansson, too.  That is why he smiles a lot.  Where-ever he goes important people flock to see him.

Erik is getting ready to start his college career and is our designated utility infielder for the duration.  He can do it all.

What does a young guy just out of the Marines and getting ready to start college do for hobbies?  You guessed it.  Erik just loves needle point.  Oh wait...that can't be true.  Surfing, motorcycling (dirt and street) and back country hiking...that sounds more like it.
